A great story book that is written in rhyme
About Harriet the kangaroo who is having a hard time
She decides she needs a day at the beach with her son

They pack up their things in her pouch then they’ve gone
On the way they meet other marsupials who
Want to go to the beach with them too
But they all want Harriet to carry whatever they bring
In her pouch with her Joey and all of their things

As others join them in going to the beach
The end of her tether Harriet will reach
To find what happens next you’ll need to look
Inside this beautifully illustrated book

The tale is a great one that all will enjoy
It won’t matter a bit if you’re a girl or a boy
The story is one that will appeal to both so
Go on now folks – go give it a go!

After the story there’s information for you
About Australian marsupials and mammals too
So it isn’t just a story that’s in this book
But facts too, so go take a look!

Thanks to the author, publishers and NetGalley too
for letting me look
at this book
In exchange for this, an honest review.
