A brilliant book for the festive season – and for other times of year, too!

This delightful book tells the story of Samson, an orphaned lamb who is raised by Tedra, the Shepherd’s daughter. The story is ‘told’ by Samson and relates to him growing up and what happens one very special night when he and Tedra meet three wise men who are following a star. Terda and Samson join them, finding a newborn baby lying in a manger full of straw. Samson volunteers his fleece to protect the precious child. The book is beautifully illustrated throughout and I think it would be a great story to use with children at Christmas time in homes, churches and schools. There are some fun facts about sheep after the story.

A really great book which I highly recommend!

Thanks to the author, publishers and NetGalley too
