Sometimes the best laid plans can go awry – especially when love intervenes!
Anna Keebler is an unconventional wedding planner . . . by that I mean she plans unconventional weddings – the ones at the start of this story are one for nudists, another is for paintballers and the third is themed around “Puff the Magic Dragon” – as I said, unconventional! These are all in Hawaii and things seem to be going great until, during a beach paintball fun session, a hot Marine thinks she’s been shot and intervenes by disarming her photographer. The photographer immediately and unceremoniously quits, leaving her plans in disarray and her heart having palpitations at the delicious hunk coming to her rescue. It seems that Grant Patton is a Boy Scout in disguise – or is he? He seems to come to everyone’s rescue – including a cat that’s climbed a palm tree – is brilliant at everything he does, extremely attractive, can cook, is a brilliant photographer – as I said, perfect in every way – but is he too good to be true? The only flaw seems to be that he hates marriage as much as Anna. Both have secrets and the chemistry between them is hot but can love find a way to change the attitudes of these two who are so adamantly against marriage?
Great story, with lots of action, twists, turns and misunderstandings. The characters and their fears, hopes and dreams are shared in a way which makes it easy to relate to. I really hope the story of Schwartz – and Jannelle (?) – will be coming next and it also has a happy ending!
