When cleaning out her attic – after cleaning out and divorcing her husband – Lydia finds the list of things she wanted to achieve when just fifteen years old. She is devastated when she realises just how few of these she has actually successfully completed. That proves to be a turning point in her life, especially when her friend Des finds her upset about it. He helps her write another list, showing what she’s going to do, how she plans on working to achieve this and how she will know she has been successful, her success criteria. Then the fun starts as she attempts, with the support of friends, to work her way through the list . . . flying . . . . ice skating . . . salsa dancing . . . . dancing . . . . singing in public . . . . everything that is on the list!
This is a delightful story of keeping striving to achieve goals supported by friends – and how friends can become friends with benefits and so much more in the process! A superb story, full of humour, goals and people supporting each other – a great read!
