Somewhere to review books I'm reading without giving away any spoilers!

It’s in the Stars by Buffy Andrews

Title: It’s in the Stars It's in the Stars

Author: Buffy Andrews

Publisher: Carina UK

Published: February 12th, 2015

Rating: 4/5

Disillusioned by her lack of a love life, embarrassed by her initials, journalist Sydney Turner Davies is great at giving advice to everyone else but doesn’t know what to do herself. That’s when she decides to follow the guidance from her horoscope and see what happens! What happens is a hilarious series of laugh out loud events, some interesting scenarios and events!

The story is told in the first person and really takes the reader in, encouraging them to empathise and sympathise with 26 year old Sydney and her OCD tendencies. You’ll need to read it to find some great characters – Oyster breath, Blue Boxers, Hottie Advertising Guy, together with her best friends, all of whom combine with Sydney’s down to earth, realistic attitudes and action to make this feel like you are listening to a friend tell you what’s happened to her.

This is a story to make you smile, blush, laugh and smile again – it was a great Valentine’s day read!

Thanks to the author, publishers and NetGalley, too, for letting me read this book in exchange for an honest review.
