This is now a classic for me, a book I’ve owned and used for years
The humour is contagious, it’ll have you in happy tears.
As teachers it is easy to relate to the tales that are told
In this book, some are so true and never will grow old!
Children enjoy them too,
So check them out please do

I just hope that I’m never as unaware of children – or so sad –
That I’d treat them at all like Mrs Butler – who’s oh so bad!
The others in it are memorable too, so why don’t you give them a try
They’re great at reminding readers of days gone by
But oh so funny at the same time
So go check out these brilliant rhymes!
