This is one of those books you really don’t want to read before going to bed. It takes you into the head of a serial killer who kills because he wants to, no other reason! Told in the first person, he actually seems to have a great sense of humour at times and his observations of others are often very perceptive -but then you remember he’s a murderer. He does things that seem totally normal – then things that definitely are not! This is a dark story with a hero who is anything but. He’s clever, resourceful and appears normal to most people he meets – unless they’re his next victim!
A weird story you’ll either love or hate . . . . or, like me, not even be quite sure how you feel about it. It will get you questioning just what is normal and is a definitely different thriller, definitely not normal! It will also have you looking at your neighbours and strangers in a new light – what could they be concealing?
Thanks to the author, publishers and NetGalley, too for letting me read an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
