Title: Out of the Blue – A Book of Color Idioms and Silly Pictures

The title says it all – this book shows funny pictures to illustrate idioms, explains their meanings and cites an example of a sentence in which the idiom is used.
Whilst enjoyable in its own right and something children may well like to have for their own use, this book could prove invaluable for teachers trying to explain idioms to their pupils. The only word of caution I would issue is to those who teach in the UK or other places using English rather than American English as some of the spellings are different (especially colour v color). I wish the explanations were the same way round as the rest of the book and in a larger font to make them easier to read and access.
Thanks to the author, publishers and NetGalley, too for letting me read an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
