Somewhere to review books I'm reading without giving away any spoilers!

The Elite by Keira Cass

Title: The EliteThe Elite

Author: Keira Cass

Publisher: Harper Collins UK, Children’s

Published: April 24th, 2014

Rating: 3.5/5

The story of ‘The Selection‘ continues with just six Elite candidates from the original thirty five left to contend to marry Prince Maxon. Despite her constant vacillation, Lady America Singer is still his first choice but he has to continue to woo the other contenders since she may still reject him. With further attacks by rebels, visits from families and dark secrets revealed the story is continuing to develop.

Talk about someone being indecisive! Lady America really just can’t make up her mind whether she want to marry Prince Maxon or her first love, Aspen. She’s annoyingly changing her mind throughout the story – how the men put up with her, I have no idea! I know she’s only seventeen but she’s like a child in a candy store who just can’t decide what to have.

I didn’t enjoy this book quite as much as the first in the series, mainly because of America’s actions and decisions – but I still want to know what happens in the end!

Thanks to the author, publishers and NetGalley, too, for letting me read an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
