Somewhere to review books I'm reading without giving away any spoilers!

The One by Kiera Cass

Title: The OneThe One

Author: Kiera Cass

Publisher: Harper Collins UK, Children’s

Published: June 5th, 2014

Rating: 4/5

Having been one of ‘The Selected’ (book one in this series) thirty-five candidates to vie for the hand of Prince Maxon in marriage, there now only remain the four. These are ‘The Elite’ (book two in the series) and now it is time for him to make his final choice. Lady America has been prevaricating between loving Prince Maxon and her first love but – finally – she has made up her mind! However, further threats, insurgents and possible new allies, a death in the family, together with further controversial actions and comments all seem to be thwarting their opportunity for true love.

This dystopian romance reaches its conclusion in this third book in the series. You really do need to read the earlier books to understand some of the machinations occurring and it is great that America is actually starting to grow up and show some decisiveness and determination.

Thanks to the author, publishers and NetGalley, too, for letting me read an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
