Ryder Ford is an attorney and Addison Wells is working part time as his legal secretary whilst actually studying to become a lawyer herself. They had given into the mutual attraction at the Christmas party – only sharing a kiss under the mistletoe – but that was, for both of them, an unforgettable experience. Three months later they’ve never repeated it but both are still tempted! When a tornado warning is given they are the only ones in the office and go in the closet shelter. Addison is planning to move to another town once she is qualified so is trying to protect herself by not giving in to her attraction to Ryder. Will they be able to continue to resist temptation? If you read it, you’ll also learn about Boots Kelly and his will!

This is a delightful, very short (about 40 minutes) read and a great prequel novella and I look forward to reading more in this series in future! A heart warming story with no real angst – a fun, romantic start to a new series!

Thanks to the author, publishers and NetGalley, too, for letting me read an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
