Top Tips on Surviving a Holiday with a Boyfriend from Sarah Morgan

Top Tips on Surviving a Holiday with a Boyfriend

A romantic holiday is a wonderful thing, but it can also be very stressful. To make sure your holiday goes without a hitch, bestselling author Sarah Morgan is here with her top tips on how to ensure your holiday goes without a hitch!

Chose a destination that you both want to visit! It’s very romantic to think that all you might need to have a gorgeous holiday is your boyfriend, but it helps if you both want to be there too!

Put down your phone and walk away from the wireless. Unless it’s for something specific (like googling those directions he swears he memorised!), remember that this holiday is about spending quality time with each other, not staying in contact with everyone back home.

Pack a good book – of course! Holidays are all about relaxing and unwinding, and although I may be biased – I am an author after all! – curling up with a good book is the ultimate indulgence!

Make sure you plan something special each day. Whether you’re on a city break or beach holiday, plan daily treats for yourself and your boyfriend. If you’re a culture vulture, visit a new museum or gallery. If you’re a foodie, explore some of the local restaurants. If you love spending time outdoors, find the most romantic, idyllic places you can! And if you’re able to share a glass or two of champagne along the way, so much the better!

Above all, remember to pack your sense of humour! Holidays are wonderful when they go brilliantly, but the real test of a relationship can be when they go to plan. There is nothing more bonding, romantic and sexy than realising your partner is the only person you’d want to laugh off a disastrous holiday experience with!

Thanks for these, Sarah!
