Rebecca Melendez is a TV reporter with a growing reputation for great investigatory reporting. As she rushes to report the verdict on the latest court case instigated by one of her investigations she becomes the subject of new programmes world wide as she and her cameraman, Dalls ‘Dawg’ Jpnes, are kidnapped at gunpoint from outside the court. You’ll have read it yourself to find out why – and how the whole experience totally changes her life as I really don’t think I can say much more without giving out spoilers!

This is a fabulous, fast paced adventurous novel filled with great characters, a strong plot and enough twists and turns to fulfil the dreams of an ardent roller coaster fanatic. It has kidnapping, rescuing, political machinations, treks through dangerous territories, domestic abuse, a missing father rediscovered and lots more besides! A thrilling suspense that kept me enthralled to the very end – I can’t recommend this highly enough, I really enjoyed escaping into this fantastic action packed novel.

Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley too,
for letting me read an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
