This is a great book for introducing and explaining the Lord’s Prayer in a way that will be meaningful for young children. It surmises that you are going on a playdate with four year old Emma. She show’s you around her room, you meet her favourite toy and then her Mum calls you both down to have something to eat. Before she start eating, Emma explains she is going to pray and then explains each line of the Lord’s Prayer in a way that similar aged children will find easy to relate to.
As well as in a Christian home, I think this could be a useful book for teachers to use with younger pupils where pupils are studying Christianity. There is also a link provided to a custom song to accompany the prayer. I posted my original review for this book back in June, 2015 before it was available and I’m now reposting it with purchase links.
Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley too, for letting me read an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
