This is another instance where I can’t believe I haven’t discovered this talented author years ago….

If you enjoy hopping on a jet, visiting fascinating places that are superbly described by a highly talented author brining them to life in the imagination of the reader, you’ll love this enthralling thriller. The hero and heroine of the tale are John Sinclair and Cordelia Stapleton, both highly intelligent, well connected and ready for some rest and recuperation. They’ve gone to the island of Capri where they visit a friend who has a surprising guest – a beautiful royal princess…. When volcanoes erupt, disrupting air travel, the firework like displays aren’t only from the fast flowing lava. When you add mobsters, jewel thieves, murder and forbidden romance to the pyrotechnic displays you know you’re in for a superb, enthralling read which will keep you riveted to the very end.

The author paints vivid, full colour pictures of people, places and events in the mind of the reader, bringing them to dramatic life in a fast paced, action packed tightly woven across Europe adventure.  It isn’t the first story starring this intrepid duo but the story can be read as a standalone. I don’t know about anyone else but this has definitely whet my appetite and made me want to read her earlier books, too!

Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley, too, for letting me read an ARC of this book in exchange for this, an honest review.
