With the chance to raise much needed funds for her favourite charity, “Helping Hands”‘, taking part in a reality television programme, “Luring Love” seemed like a good idea. Sometimes, however, even the best ideas can have unexpected consequences!

Attorney Rochelle Ransom has agreed to be one of ten female participants in the show which hopes to find a love match for the male participant. She really isn’t interested in finding love – she had her heart broken into little pieces by her college boyfriend ten years ago – she just hopes to raise awareness and much needed funds for the shelter for abused women where she volunteers. When the male participant is revealed as her ex from ten years ago, Grant Drake, she wants to run. The show’s producer, however, thinks this will make great viewing and anticipates the show’s ratings to soar if she continues to take part and bribes her to do so. Grant may have been the one to break up with Chelle but he only did so because she was going to study at Berkley Law School and he believed she was about to break up with him. He’s never found anyone to replace her, she’s still the one he loves – will this give them an opportunity for closure or give them both a second chance at love?

Get ready now for secrets from their past to be uncovered, love to be rekindled, media manipulation, competition between the contenders for his love and lots of behind the scenes action in this heartwarming second chance romance. The reality television aspect adds much to the story and explores some of the ‘behind the scenes’ aspects of such situations in a sometimes humorous and at others heartbreaking manner. It has great characters, a strong plot and is written in a style that makes it an easy read and a great story to get lost in.

Thanks to the Author, publisher and NetGalley, too, for letting me read an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Cool premise, Bicted. I used to devour The Bachelor– true confessions, lol.

You’d definitely like some of the shenanigans on this show then, behind the scenes manipulative behaviour, emotional blackmail, the lot 🙂
