This is a fast paced thriller from the very start!

Demetri Christodoulou is a self made man, determined and wealthy. He’s on board his latest acquisition, a custom built ship, on his way back to the island of his birth, Gavdos, when a naked woman joins him in the shower. That is surprising enough but she’s immediately followed by two gunmen who demand to take her into their custody! All that happens in the first few pages and the all action novel continues in this manner, with plenty of unexpected events adding turmoil and danger to the romance in this story. Trying to give you key facts without revealing any spoilers is difficult, so I’ll just add that the naked lady is Rania, the gunmen are Egyptian and they are after her because she is desperate to free her beloved Uncle Faroud, who has been imprisoned without trial for political reasons. Demerit and Rania strive for Faroud’s freedom, with secret agents, family drama, settings ranging from Gavdos, Crete, Athens, Turkey and, of course, Egypt, all playing an important role as the story unfolds.

This thriller is packed with suspense, humour and romance. It is an enthralling read that anyone who enjoys these genres is likely to enjoy.

Thanks to the Author, publisher and NetGalley, too, for letting me read an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
