My Review:
This is an intriguing paranormal romance novella. Novie was traumatised and seriously injured when she escaped an attack on the home of her Alpha in which her friends were killed. She has chosen to live alone and on the edge of the Pack’s territory becoming more reclusive and convinced that she is slowly losing her mind. When the Pack’s newest Lieutenant, Kyle, visits her frozen existence starts to thaw but when he is trapped with her by a blizzard her nightmares become reality for them both and danger is all around!
With werewolves, witches, Pack, rebels and romance in the wintry wilderness this is the second story in this fast paced series. Mysterious happening, strong emotions, hot attraction, enemies – and, of course, don’t forget the romance! – they all play their part in this novella which is a well written, emotive, quick read and a great addition to the series.
