My Review:

This is the third book in the series and I read it in the Seattle Wolf Box Set. This is a great friends to partners to mates werewolf story, where she knows she’s attracted to him but he is in self denial, not believing he can find another fated mate after his disastrous first experience. She’s also wary of trying to develop their relationship further because they really are great friends and neither wants to mar that friendship. Such a great job that love has a way ignoring common sense reasoning and imposing its own slant on relationships!

This is a great story of friends working together to overcome obstacles in their path by pretending to be in a relationship with each other – only to find the temptations to make it read insurmountable! There are plenty of laugh out loud moments in this story as the two try to cope with their changing relationship, mutual attraction and, of course, Humperdink the Yorkie in need of training to improve his behaviour! Add in his job rival and his girlfriend – who used to go out with Carter – as well as the leading officials in the Department and you just know you’re in for a great read!

I’ve enjoyed all three novels in this box set and highly recommend them to anyone who enjoys paranormal werewolf shifter romances with plenty of twists and turns, turmoil and trouble as well as hot romance!

Thanks to the publishers for gifting me an ARC of the box set containing this novel, via NetGalley, in exchange for my honest review.

Synopsis:

Carter Griffin, enforcing officer for the Seattle Wolf Pack, has a problem. He’s been offered the promotion of his dreams…if he can find a wife to prove he’s over his playboy ways. But Carter’s already walked the matrimonial road and bought the stinkin’ T-shirt. Besides, a werewolf only gets one fated mate. Been there, done that.

All werewolf dog trainer Faith Hamilton wants to do is earn enough green stuff to put her younger brother through college. Okay, okay, so she also totally wants Carter, her sexy next-door neighbor, to look at her as more than a friend. It’s too bad size 12 and plain isn’t his type. At all.

The two friends strike a deal to help one another out. They must face a variety of challenges from a psycho ex-girlfriend to a Yorkie with a shoe fetish…and that pesky problem of only having one-fated mate in a lifetime. Will a relationship ruin their friendship…or spark a love neither anticipated?
