My Review:

WOW! This action packed, fast paced, young adult fantasy adventure just keeps on being an enthralling, page turner – I can’t wait to get the next book to see how this talented author brings the whole series to a conclusion after reading this, the fourth book in this five book series.

The story continues on from where the last book ended – I really think this is one series where it is important to read the books in the correct sequence as most of them end on a cliffhanger that is the starting point for the next book. There are plenty of edge of your seat moments in this episode in the sequence, with help from unexpected quarters and a dangerous journey to be undertaken in an effort to save the world.(Sorry, trying desperately not to reveal any spoilers from this or the previous books!)

Throughout the series, the lead characters are the teens and Greek mythology and mythological beings have very important parts to play in the interactions and events. In this story the teens use a portal to access the prison world of Kerberos, facing dangerous creatures, mythological beings and so much more in there quest to retrieve Blake and the Medusa’s head. This is more dangerous than usual for them as their elemental powers won’t work in Kerberos. Will they succeed and make it out alive? You’ll have to read it yourself to find out!

This is a great series and one I have no hesitation in highly recommending to anyone who enjoys fantasy adventures – even if the reader is, like me, no longer a teen or young adult! I’m now desperately awaiting the release of ‘The Hands of Time’ which will conclude the series….

I was gifted a copy of this book by the author in exchange for an honest review.

P.S. If you’d like to read the first book in this series, The Prophecy of Shadowsyou can download it for free from www.michellemadow.com

She will venture into hell to save the one she loves.

After being betrayed by one of their own, Nicole watches helplessly as Blake is snatched into the prison world of Kerberos—along with Medusa’s head, which is the one item they need to stop the Titans from rising again. Now Nicole and the other Elementals must enter the portal, find Blake, and bring him and Medusa’s head back to Earth before the deadly monster Typhon returns and wreaks havoc on the world. But there’s one catch—their elemental powers don’t work in Kerberos. In a dimension designed to make those within it lose touch with reality, and that’s filled with dangerous creatures who want to stop them from completing their task, will they make it out alive?

In this penultimate book of Nicole’s story, join the Elementals as they journey through hell to save the world… before it’s too late.
