My Review:

This is a lovely, fast, paranormal read. It has great characters and plenty of surprises along the way. Gavin is a lawyer and a lone wolf. A friend asks him to take on a pro bono case defending a secretary who is accused of murdering her boss. As soon as he sees her he recognises she’s his mate. Is she really innocent? Can he defend her – and resist temptation whilst doing so?

This story has some highly original twists and is full of surprises. The characters are well developed and they have some hidden depths that are only revealed as the story progresses. With more murders and evidence against Megan that can’t possibly be true, there’s definitely a conspiracy against her. Can they discover who is behind all the murder and mayhem and keep Megan safe? I really enjoyed it and hope it is the start of a new series.

I was gifted a copy of this book by the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

In Legal Wolf’s Mate—previously published in the anthology Growl— taking on a pro bono murder case isn’t a problem for a lawyer who enjoys a challenge. Discovering his new client is his mate? A tad more complicated. Gavin has no intention of settling down, especially not with a woman accused of murder. But the beautiful, fiery Megan has his blood boiling and his heart racing, and it doesn’t take Gavin long to know that his fate is sealed…
