My Review:

This is a collection of three, full length werewolf romances involving (as the title shows) the San Francisco wolf pack. The stories all involved feisty females who aren’t fainthearted or submissive even when they find their luminary (fated mate)! I had actually read and reviewed two of these stories before but still enjoyed re-reading them again.

The first story is “The Werewolf Wears Prada”. The female in this is fashionista and reporter Melina Rosenthal who dreams of gaining a journalist position on Eclipse, a fashion magazine. After interviewing a playboy business man she felt they’d really connected, especially when he invited her to attend a red carpet event with him that evening. However, he didn’t turn up, leaving her all dressed up with no where to go and with a broken heart. Now, a year later, she’s been given the task of changing his image to make him more acceptable as CEO of his late father’s company . . . . The attraction is still there, but once bitten twice shy as far as she’s concerned, even though he never actually bit her and she has no idea that he’s a werewolf! The fur is bound to fly as this feisty lady strives to succeed in his makeover to gain her dream job but, preferably, without losing her heart again. This fast paced story is packed with double dealing, behind the scenes conspiracy, kidnapping, murder and mystery together with a hefty slice of romance. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this again!

The second story is ‘Beauty and the Werewolf’. This one concerns Jack MacGrath who is going to die soon if he can’t find his mate. He’s an adrenaline junky as his doctor has advised him it is the only way to extend his lifespan. When he meets Isabelle Connelly, the heir apparent to an Irish pack, he knows she’s the one he’s been seeking. The problem is she’s so focussed on regaining her art work to show her father her talent before he succumbs to cancer that she doesn’t realise the bond is mutual. She’ll face some difficult decisions as she has the dilemma of choosing her mate from a rival pack her father abhors or her duty to her family. I actually found some of the heroine’s decisions questionable, so didn’t like this one as much as the other two. The characters are all still well developed and Jack is such a sweetheart, you just have to empathise with him!

The third and final story in this set is ‘What a Werewolf Wants’ and this has some great laugh out loud incidents in it as PI and werewolf Ryder McManus endeavours to stop his best friend from marrying his fated mate without telling her that he’s a made werewolf. As Ryder discovers that bride-to-be’s sister and matchmaker, Josie, is his mate he’s caught between a rock and a hard place! He doesn’t believe in matchmaking or marriage after being involved in so many cheating investigations whilst for Josie this is her hundredth match and she certainly believes in true love! As the two try to convince each other their view is the right one, their attraction develops even further and there are some hilarious encounters before love does find a way to bring them both together. This is definitely the best of the bunch for me, a great story with strong, stubborn and somewhat opinionated characters who meet their match in every sense.

This is a great set for anyone who enjoys escaping into paranormal romances and I have no hesitation in highly recommending it.

I requested and received an ARC of this novel via NetGalley. This is my honest review.

From “falling in love” to “it’s complicated,” New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Kristin Miller brings you three, full-length, deliciously hot, paranormal love stories with sexy alpha heroes and the strong-willed women who bring these werewolves to heel.

The Werewolf Wears Prada: Melina Rosenthal worships at the altar of all things fashion. Her dream is to work for the crème de la crème fashion magazine, Eclipse, and she’ll do pretty much anything to get there. Even fixing up the image of a gorgeous, sexy public figure who’s all playboy, all the time. Even if he’s the guy who broke her heart a year ago. And even if Melina has no idea that Hayden Dean is actually a werewolf…

Beauty and the Werewolf: Billionaire werewolf Jack MacGrath has almost everything—the respect of his peers, a mansion in San Francisco, a private jet, and fast cars. But without a mate, Jack’s in trouble. Then he sees her. Gorgeous, demure, proud…and his enemy. Isabelle Connelly is werewolf royalty and falling for anyone lesser — to say nothing of a rival pack — would be, er, unseemly. Now she must choose between her duty to her family and her pack…orher perfect fated mate.

What a Werewolf Wants: Private investigator – and werewolf – Ryder McManus doesn’t believe in marriage. But then he never expected to find his fated mate, Josie, at hisbest friend’s wedding festivities. When Josie and Ryder are together, the chemistry heats up. While he’s trying to stop the wedding, she’ll do whatever it takes to give the couple a dream day. But the secret he’s trying to expose might just ruin everything.
