My Review:

This is a short, angst filled but sweet festive paranormal novella, a great finale for Mia and Lucas for those who have already read books in this series but it is also written as a standalone. With Christmas approaching, Mia has very mixed feelings. Whilst she’s not really looking forward to the office party, she’s dreading introducing Lucas to her Mum because her Mum doesn’t know that Mia is a shifter and is likely to react badly when she discovers that Lucas is an alpha. She’s anticipating serious trouble ahead!

I enjoyed this very short follow up novella with plenty of turmoil and trauma packed into this emotional quick read. It has characters with secrets, revelations to be made and a mother to be faced! There are some intriguing secondary romances being developed, too, and I look forward to reading more about them in future novels. Back to this one, I have to say I loved the ending! Just when you thought situations couldn’t be resolved, Lucas proves himself to be a great alpha, able to be caring, considerate and determined enough to sort it all out for them all! A delightful festive shifter novella.

Synopsis

Christmas is a magical time… and a hard time to keep secrets.

Mia is your everyday college girl, trying to earn her business degree—and a shifter who’s long hidden her identity from everyone, including her mother, who believes shifter is synonymous with criminal. Six months ago, sexy and powerful alpha-male Lucas rescued her in an alley and claimed her for his mate. Now Mia’s heart belongs to Lucas, and everyone in the world of shifters understands the magic of their mating has bonded them for life. But in the human world, there’s no wedding ring on her finger to show for it. With Christmas looming, Mia’s mother wants to finally meet Mia’s mysterious and high-powered live-in lover. With her human and shifter lives about to irrevocably collide, Mia fears there will be nothing but broken hearts in the end.

A True Alpha Christmas (Shifters of Seattle 3) is an “after story” novella with HEA, approximately 80 pages or 20,000 words, best enjoyed after reading True Alpha and Dark Alpha. It contains scorching hot shifters—only readers over 18 should dive into the steamy world of Shifters in Seattle.
