Little did she realise that on her first stint helping that she would be helping with Mick Meyer, an injured pilot who was visiting to participate in his friend’s and her soon to be brother in law’s stag do. He has concussion, other head injuries, a dislocated shoulder and knee injury. Her soothing touch helps him stop fighting the medics but also help form a bond between the two.
As he is grounded, staying in the town, he turns on his charm as he struggles to recover. He and his Mum have recently inherited a plot of land and cabin that they’re planning to sell. Having the task of selling it could help Maddie save her job. . . . But she has a reputation for thinking of clients first and sales after. Will she get the sale or will he win her heart?
This is another Marietta story with many of the familiar characters, people and places which make them such endearing reads. I’m loving reconnecting with them all! You don’t have to have read any other books in this or other associated series to enjoy this, but if you haven’t done so, I suspect it will whet your appetite for more. I thoroughly enjoyed this romance and have no hesitation in highly recommending it. I’m looking forward to reading more stories about the Marietta community in future – especially hope that one will tell Portia’s story and hopefully give her a HEA, too!

No more chocolate! No more meddling! No more men!
New Year’s resolutions are great. Announcing them in a crowded bar, with a chocolate martini in her hand? Not Maddie Cash’s finest moment. It’s time this new realtor got serious about her life and this time, she means it.
But when hospital volunteering lands her at the bedside of bruised and battered Mick Meyer, who has no knowledge of Maddie’s reputation – and no memory of the kiss he begged from her during that long, pain-filled night, her best-laid plans are put in jeopardy. It’s not just his sweet tooth that’s tempting her.
The hunky bush pilot with the concussion has an old family property to unload. Making this sale could be Maddie’s professional salvation. But when Mick turns on the charm, she’s in danger of forgetting all her best intentions… on chocolate… on meddling… and especially on men.
