As the last Pack member without a mate, Luke Reynolds has become an outsider. When he takes a job as the head horse trainer Sedona, Arizona, he’s looking forward to starting a new life. But everything changes the night he finds beautiful woman stranded on the side of the highway.
Raven Wood has been bitten and turned against her will. Luckily, her spirit is stronger than most, and she has every intention of escaping the Sedona Pack. Somehow. The sexy lone wolf who rescues her might be just the answer she’s looking for.
But the Sedona Pack Alpha has a mission, and unless Luke and Raven can stop him, they’ll lose everything.
Author’s Note: While a part of a series, each book in the Moon series, including WOLF MOON, can be read as a STANDALONE!
At last it is Luke’s turn! Luke was the only unmated member of his pack and was feeling something of a misfit because of it. He took a job as head horse trainer on a ranch outside Sedona, Arizona and certainly didn’t anticipate the change in his life endeavouring to rescue a damsel in distress on his way into town. The damsel is Raven Wood, a feisty young lady who had been bitten and turned against her will by members of the Sedona Pack. She was trying to escape from that pack when Luke discovered her. He can’t believe what has been happening in Sedona and hearing that the Sedona Pack, supported by Nero, are going to attack his pack is the start of another brilliant, action packed shifter confrontation and romance by this highly talented author.
I loved escaping into this superb paranormal adventure. The author manages to interweave so many threads, complete with unexpected twists and turns, making this a terrific tapestry filled with intricate details that never fail to please. Raven’s determination to escape, taking her sister with her, is key to many of the events and she’s one powerful alpha female, a force in her own right despite what she has been through. How Luke works with the dysfunctional Sedona pack members, starting to teach them what being pack should mean, the captives and those who’ll work with Luke all make this an enthralling read, a real page turner that I didn’t want to put down until I’d discovered what happens in the end. I have no hesitation in highly recommending this – and all the other books in this series! I’m now desperate to discover what will happen next and hope Lisa is off *type*type*typing* again!
I received a copy of this novel via NetGalley and volunteered to read it. This review is my honest opinion.
