My Review:

This was so worth the wait – this is a great addition to the Denali Den series and I loved reading it!

Werebear Stryker Vane is doing his brother a big favour by going to pick up the woman his brother plans to marry. Just imagine how he felt when his brother than asks Stryker to let the lady know that he’s changed his mind and the wedding is off! However, when he scents her across the crowded arrivals hall, Stryker has other plans of his own that certainly don’t involve his brother but definitely involve Ava!

Ava Perello had only met Stryker’s brother over the internet but she’s desperate and has planned to marry him for reasons of her own. When Stryker volunteers to step in for his brother as the groom she can’t resist. However, she has secrets, reasons why she was so desperate to marry and what’ll happen when the cause of them turns up to thwart her plans? Life’s about to get even more interesting for this pair!

This is a very quick read but so worth the time! Rebecca Thomas packs so much into this short story, it is a real page turner and, as well as romance, has elements of mystery, suspense and drama together with a feisty female werebear and some truly alpha males. Set in Alaska, the author’s intimate knowledge of the State shines through in the brilliant descriptions. All the characters are brought to life within the pages of the story with superb secondary as well as main characters – though I have to say, I don’t like Brett! I’m waiting in eager anticipation for the third story in this series! In case you haven’t gathered, I thoroughly enjoyed this and highly recommend it to anyone but especially to other folks who want to escape for a while into a well written, engaging and fun paranormal romance.

A Marriage of Convenience…with the wrong groom

Werebear Stryker Vane volunteers to pick up his brother’s soon-to-be-wife at the airport. What he doesn’t anticipate is a last-minute phone call telling him the wedding is off. Stryker expects a heartbroken she-bear, but the curvy brunette with intriguing green eyes and spunky attitude is nothing like he imagined.

A desperate bride…

Ava Perello still needs to marry someone fast and she’s not picky! When drop-dead, sexy, Stryker offers to come to her rescue and marry her himself, she can’t refuse. His passionate lovemaking and unfailing devotion make her swoon. But she can’t fall in love with her husband. Because when he finds out the truth about why she married him, things could get complicated.
