Somewhere to review books I'm reading without giving away any spoilers!
Series: Wrangler’s Creek #4
Title: Texas Sized Trouble
Author: Delores Fossen
Publisher: HQN, Harlequin US & Canada
Published: January 23rd, 2018
What a delightful, second-chance romance this proved to be! Eighteen years ago, as teens, Lawson Granger and Eve Cooper were inseparable high school sweethearts – until stardom beckoned and Eve left to become a leading lady in the acting profession. Now she’s back bringing with her secrets to be revealed and so much more will they have a chance to find love together again?
This is a heartwarming story with plenty of great characters, including star struck fans, an angry teenager who has more surprises in store, some weird and wonderfully crazy friends and, of course, a plethora of alpha cowboys! The secrets about to be revealed will be life changing for all concerned – so I definitely don’t want to reveal them as spoilers here! This is a fun, emotional and engaging story that I have no hesitation in recommending to anyone who likes their second chance romances to have so many quirks and surprises throughout them that you just have to keep on reading to discover what happens next!
I requested and received a copy of this novel via NetGalley. This is my honest review after choosing to read it.
A local girl comes home to face the cowboy from her past—and finally claim her future…
Lawson Granger loved Eve Cooper once, but her dreams were grander than anything his Texas-cowboy destiny could provide. Letting her walk out of his life and into television stardom was a mistake he made eighteen years ago. Now everything’s changed. Eve is back—pregnant and desperate for someplace to hide. And their desire is just as stubborn as they are.
Escaping to the comforts of home is Eve’s one shot at giving her baby a safe life. Earning Lawson’s trust is her one chance at making amends for the past. But the long-buried secrets and unintentional damage she fled from aren’t far behind. When the truth finds her, she stands to lose the man she loves and the only place she’s ever called home…this time forever.
