Somewhere to review books I'm reading without giving away any spoilers!

Guarding Savage by Dave Edlund #Review #Thriller #Military #Series

Whilst away on holiday I read quite a few books and tried to publish my reviews of them whilst still away. Unfortunately I’ve recently discovered they were saved as drafts so now I’m trying to update them and publish them again – with the graphics which were missing from my original posts! This is definitely a story that I didn’t want you to miss out on, not something I’d normally have chosen but one I’m so glad I got to read it – hope I can tempt you to read it, too!

Series: Peter Savage

Title: Guarding Savage

Author:  Dave Edlund

Publisher: Light Messages Publishing

Published: October 30th, 2018

Rating: 5/5

What an incredible story this is. It is a thrilling tale involving political intrigue, kidnapping, the destruction of navy vessels and so much more. Peter Savage inadvertently becomes embroiled in the unfolding events after helping prevent a kidnapping of the niece of the Sultan. This leads on to scenarios where Peter and his pit bull, Diesel, are key players in a thrilling adventure during which they need to help prevent war between China and the USA.

This is a riveting, action packed read with danger around every corner. It isn’t something that I’d usually automatically have chosen to read but I couldn’t put it down and I’ll certainly be looking out for more by this talented author in future. It has great characters and a suspense filled plot with plenty of twists and turns to keep the reader guessing. There are surprises galore as the chief conspirators and their motives are revealed. Overall, a superb, suspense filled thriller that I thoroughly enjoyed. If only politicians could have the same attitude as the President of the USA at the end of this story. I can but dream …..

I requested and was given a copy of this book via NetGalley. This review is my honest opinion after choosing to read this fantastic book and finding it difficult to put down.
