This is a heartwarming contemporary romance featuring a millionaire property developer, Will Thornton, and the young lady who is working and living in the property that is thwarting his plans as she’s refusing to sell it. She’s a computer geek, Kate Kelly, and she’s not giving in to the bullying tactics of Chris, the project manager, who is pressurising her to accept their offer. However, when Will comes to investigate what’s happening, the attraction between Kate and him is hot but with her geekiness, her disbelief that he can be attracted to her and some secrets yet to be revealed there’s plenty of problems ahead before they can have any chance of a happily ever after together!

This story has a fantastic hero who really  cares for his family and employees. He also proves to have geekish tendencies of his own! I loved the references to films and television programmes – including the Bond movies and Doctor Who! Kate has a brilliant game—off too and wears some great t-shirts. As Will woos Kate their relationship develops despite her reticence and naivety. It is a lovely story that I enjoyed escaping into and have no hesitation in highly recommending to anyone who enjoys contemporary romance.

I requested and was gifted a copy of this book via NetGalley. I chose to read it and this is my honest review after doing so.

When millionaire bad boy, Will Thornton, tries to buy computer-geek Kate Kelly’s building out from under her, she refuses to sell. Will might be uber rich, and super successful but she won’t be bullied. Trouble is, she didn’t expect Will to look like one of her fantasy heroes, or to make her heart beat a little too fast. She’s prepared to wait him out, but it’ll take every ounce of her self-control to win this game.

With millions of dollars on the line, Will is positive he can make Kate sell. He’s played the game better than anybody and charming is his middle name. Problem is, the snarky, geeky, computer-wiz is nothing like he imagined—impossibly cute and a match for him in every way.

The game is on but can two such radically different people come out winners in the game of seduction?
