Just when you thought you had it all worked out …
Best friends Lisa and Felicity think – maybe, just maybe – they finally have everything sorted out in their lives.
Lisa is in a happy relationship with her old flame, and busy mum Felicity has managed to reignite the passion with her husband, Pete after a romantic getaway.
But when Lisa walks in on a half-naked woman in her boyfriend’s flat and Felicity is left reeling from a shocking discovery, it becomes clear that life is nothing but full of surprises …
Aww, what a great story this proved to be! Two friends, Lisa and Felicity, regularly meet up and turn to each other when in need of support and advice. Felicity is happily married, with four children whilst Lisa has recently rekindled her romance with her high school prom date, whose heart she broke when she turned down his marriage proposal all those years ago. However, there are worries and surprises galore to unsettle life for both of them. As life endeavours to throw a spanner in their lives, what will happen to these ladies, their dreams and their relationships?
This is a lovely contemporary story with great characters, an intriguing plot with plenty of drama and romance for several different couples. There’s also some added mystery with a surprising outcome and some delightful pets that are out to cause mayhem and mischief. This is a story with some laugh out loud incidents, a dramatic rescue and a little Bliss, too! You need to read it yourself to discover just what I mean!
I requested and was gifted a copy of this book and this is my honest review after choosing to read it.
