Confessions of a Traveler: The Observations of Alien 597

Grotesque insect looking beasts, which burst out of your chest, and have acid for blood. Grey and short aliens with big eyes, who want to take over your mind, and they do horrible experiments with instruments that go up your anus. They’ve come to take over the world, and make you into a zombie or dinner. If they ever land in full view, they would either be worshiped and a new religion would form, or murdered immediately, and their ship parts sold to the highest bidder. Alien 597 read her report about aliens that humans had encountered.

A short story about an alien visiting Earth.

My Review:

So what do you think an alien visiting Earth would think of us? This short story purports to reveal the experiences of Alien 597 as they visit to research just what humans and Earth is like. It is a fun read with a different perspective on life as we know it, with laugh out loud (mis)interpretations of actions, reactions, objects and events. From trying to discern the differences between a hotel and motel, to worrying about spiders and cockroaches, this story had me laughing out loud and left me with a smile on my face.

I requested and was gifted a copy of this book and this is my honest review after choosing to read it and enjoying doing so!
