My Review
If you’re looking for a fun festive read with a feisty female lead, look no further – this is a hilarious, laugh out loud read that I thoroughly enjoyed!
Allie Archer is shocked to discover her family home up for sale to help pay off loans taken to pay medical bills for her late mother’s treatment. When she insists on chauffeuring Devlin Somerset despite there being a blizzard, she never dreamt it would result in a possible way to help repay those debts. He’s desperate for a fake fiancé after the one with him wants their relationship to be real and refuses to act. As Allie and Devlin agree terms, will this blizzard deal help fool his father or prove to be much more than they bargained for?
This story has some delightful characters, especially Devlin’s family members – some to love and others to be avoided at all cost! Despite having shared childhood memories, their lifestyles, expectations and experiences are very different and as they explore these differences. This is a heartwarming story where Allie and Devlin need to work together to thwart his sister’s plans and avoid her machinations. It is a story to keep you giggling with Cinderella elements to thinking as you turn the pages, just right for snuggling up with to warm you on a cold, wintry night.
I requested and was gifted a copy of this hilarious book and this is my honest review after choosing to read it and laughing all the way through!
