Title: Sedona Seduction
Series: Sedona Pack #2
Author: Lisa Kessler
Publisher: Lisa’s Lair
Published: February 24th, 2020
I think this story demonstrates just what an amazing author Lisa Kessler is. It is almost a year since I read the first book in this series, Sedona Sin, and I’ve read a few hundred other books since then. Despite that, she managed to take me straight back into the story, reconnecting with the pack and their desperate desire to keep each other safe whilst endeavouring to thwart the machinations of the remnants of Nero.
This time the story is focussed on Vance Park, a jaguar shifter who is a member of the Sedona Pack now but who used to work for Nero as one of their top assassins. Now he runs the Sedona Rock Shop. He loves Kaya Blackwing but blames himself for Nero targeting her and doesn’t feel worthy of her love. Can love bring these two together? Will they prove to be true mates or will the ex-Nero personnel capture Kaya to continue their experiments?
This is an action packed paranormal romance with well developed characters, a great sense of packs supporting each other against a dangerous foe. It had me intrigued and enthralled from start to finish and is another great read by this highly talented author. I have absolutely no hesitation in highly recommending this and all the other books I’ve read by this author. I’m greedy and can’t wait to read more from her!
I requested and was gifted a copy of this book and this is my honest review after choosing to read it and finding it to be a fantastic addition to this series that I really didn’t want to put down until I’d finished reading it.
Jaguar shifter, Vance Park used to be one of the Nero Organization’s top assassins, but today he calls the Sedona Pack his family, and Sedona, Arizona, his home. He’s no longer a hired gun, but a new senate candidate with insider secrets into Nero’s shifter experiments, may change all that. Campaign promises could put targets on the backs of all the people Vance cares about, especially Kaya. He may have one last job after all.
Kaya Blackwing has always been a loner, but through a twist of fate, she’s finally found her Pack, and a place to belong. When she discovers her one true mate is a man with a deathwish, and more secrets than she can count, she struggles to redirect her wolf’s primal instincts, but one kiss from Vance seduces her to dream of a future together, and she won’t give it up without a fight.
