My Review:

He’s searching for closure and answers, he never expected to find family and love!

Rio Montez wants to find out more about his father, someone who appeared in his life intermittently then disappeared again, leaving his Mum in tears. Now his Mum has died and he’s travelling to the Braxton Ranch to work as a horse whisperer and to discover what he can about his father. He’s given a lift there by a nun . . . . how can he be attracted to a nun? Then, in town, he’s attracted to a feisty saloon girl . . . Whatever is going on?

Dee McNamara is a caring nurse and widow who rarely gives her trust after her late husband deceived her. She has a brilliant sense of humour which Rio finds breaking down his resolve and determination. They both have trust issues and he has secrets. Can they learn to trust each other? He planned to visit, work for three months and leave. Dee tempts him in a way he’d only dreamed of. Is this his opportunity to have a family to belong to or will he be off travelling again?

This is a lovely contemporary romance in which the characters have their own issues. There’s danger, injuries, secrets, surprises and romance in this family drama which is an engaging read and great story to escape into. If you like your romance with ranchers, a horse whisperer, a fawn, family and love grab yourself a copy!

I requested and was gifted a copy of this book and this is my honest review after choosing to read it and thoroughly enjoying doing so.

Should he stay, or go…

Nurse Dee McNamara knew heartbreak and tragedy. She’s a survivor but has built high walls to protect her heart. She takes care of everyone but herself, yet never imagined finding another man she’d be able to trust until one day she offered a ride to a tall, darkly handsome cowboy whose eyes hold the same pain and mistrust.

Rio Montez is a man with secrets, and he arrives at Braxton Ranch on a mission to find answers about his father. He thinks the truth will finally give him the peace to finally move on. He never counted on finding the woman who offered answers to his questions.

Rio’s always had a plan until now. Does he leave Braxton Ranch or stay and build a life he never dreamed possible with a woman he’s afraid he’s falling hard for.
