#Review for A Hidden Heir to Redeem Him by Dani Collins @HarlequinBooks

Having read and reviewed all four fantastic Harlequin Intrigue books in the
Tactical Crime Division series earlier this week,
I decided to change to their Harlequin Presents titles for today’s post.
The tag for these books is:

Welcome to the glamorous lives of royals and billionaires, where passion knows no bounds. This is the world of Harlequin Presents. Be captivated by the luxury and wealth, as you’re swept into a world of exotic locations.

Title: A Hidden Heir to Redeem Him

Series: Feuding Billionaire Brothers #1

Author: Dani Collins

My Review:

This certainly lives up to its billing! It centres on Valentino Casale who had a one night stand with Kiara O’Neill, an impoverished but very talented artist. He is unaware that the consequence of that night is their daughter and it is only when he goes to hear the reading of his father’s will that he discovers her existence. What makes it worse is that Kiara and his daughter have been living with his estranged father and his mother even knew she’d been pregnant! He may have rejected his own father and his wealth but he never wanted that for his own child. The attraction between him and Kiara is as hot as ever, and he’s determined to marry her to make their child legitimate. Valentino always tries to portray himself as cold hearted but artist Kiara sees behind his facade. Can she help crack the walls he’s built to protect his heart and win his love? He may be determined to marry her, but she wants and deserves more than a sham marriage. Can she risk her own heart to give him a second chance?

The relationship Val has with members of his family are dire. He’s rejected his father, is antagonistic to his half-brother and his Mum seems only to want his money. With so little love in his life it isn’t surprising he finds opening himself up to love so difficult. However, meeting and getting to know his delightful young daughter has a serious consequence. I like how Kiara was determined not to give in to all his demands and stood up for herself – especially with his mother. It is a steamy second chance romance with antagonistic and manipulative characters and plenty of relationships in need of lots of tlc and secrets being revealed!

I requested and was gifted a copy of this book via NetGalley and this is my honest review after choosing to read it.
