#Review for Summertime at the Cornish Confetti Agency by Daisy James #RomCom #Mystery #Funny #Series #BlogTour

It’s Summertime at The Cornish Confetti Agency!

When Lexie Harrington is asked to co-ordinate Kat and Dylan’s ‘English village fête’ wedding, she’s determined that this time everything will go according to her carefully laid plans; no ice bucket challenges, no whoopee cushions, and absolutely no googly eyes attached to everything in sight!

With gorgeous journalist-cum-wedding columnist Theo Barker to offer a helping hand, Lexie is optimistic that she can deliver the fairy tale wedding her clients have always dreamed of…. until the best man Noah is targeted by a loose hosepipe, the wedding rings go walk-about, and his beloved scarlet Porsche takes on a distinctly unpleasant aroma.

Can Lexie and Theo uncover what’s behind the mysterious goings on, or will the Cornish Confetti Agency be forced to close its doors to the future brides and grooms of glorious Cornwall?

My Review:

There’s more than one romance in this delightful mix of romantic comedy, revenge and mystery as Lexie Harrington endeavours to organise a trouble free village fête wedding for the daughter of the local vicar. However, someone seems out to thwart their plans as someone keeps causing mischief targetted at the best man, Noah. Just who is the culprit? Noah tends to be a somewhat obnoxious, self-important rule follower who thinks very highly of himself but surely no one would hate him so much they would ruin Kat and Dylan’s wedding . . . . or would they? He used to be so different, what is the reason?

Get ready for a week of celebrations for the friends and family of the bride-to-be and everyone who is coming to the wedding. There’s lots of fun and adventurous activities planned for the week leading up to the big day but that just leaves more opportunities for the mischief maker. As Lexie and Theo share some great experiences, can they help prevent the big day being ruined? Can they uncover who is causing the trouble and prevent any more happening? But why is Theo also being so mysterious? Get ready for all the fun of the fair, love, laughter and surprises in this great read!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book which is packed with a great mix of characters, plenty of antics and laugh out loud moments as well as a suspense filled mystery! Is someone out to destroy the Cornish Confetti Agency? What will Lexie do when the agency’s owner returns? What is happening to the potential relationship between Lexie and Theo? There are so many questions but you’ll just have to read this brilliant book to discover the answers for yourself.

I requested and was gifted a copy of this fantastic book and this is my honest review after choosing to read it.

Author Bio –

Daisy James loves writing stories with strong heroines and swift-flowing plotlines. She especially likes to create sunshine-filled settings in exotic locations – the Caribbean, Tuscany, Cornwall, Provence – so she can spend her time envisioning her characters enjoying the fabulous scenery and sampling the local food and drink.

When not scribbling away in her peppermint-and-green summerhouse (garden shed), she spends her time sifting flour and sprinkling sugar and edible glitter. She loves gossiping with friends over a glass of something fizzy or indulging in a spot of afternoon tea – china plates and teacups are a must.
