Somewhere to review books I'm reading without giving away any spoilers!

My #Review for A Wedding at Wynter House by Emily Harvale, great addition to the #Wyntersleap series

A Wedding at Wynter House
Wyntersleap series – Book 3

Not everyone at Wynter House is thrilled about this wedding.

Secrets have been revealed and new relationships begun. Now it’s time to look to the future. Neva and Rafe are in love and so are Adam and Hazel. Jo’s love life leaves a lot to be desired, although Gavin could remedy that.

But Rafe’s grandmother, Olivia still hopes that something will tear Rafe and Neva apart. Hazel’s new assignment means nursing someone back to health … and there’s history between them. And Jo’s receiving texts from her ex-fiancé.

Then Rafe’s first wife, Pippa – the woman who broke his heart, unexpectedly arrives. And she’s even more beautiful and irresistible than Rafe remembers.

When everyone is looking to the future, will the past prove to be too strong?

There will be a wedding at Wynter House … but who will be the bride and groom?

My Review:

That title is wrong – there’s not just one wedding at Wynter House in this is a brilliant addition to the Wyntersleap series! This story is packed with plenty of surprises, lots of love, some second chance romance opportunities, a Valentine surprise, a new relationship, a broken heart and, to top it all, those two weddings!

It is a lovely series but I do recommend you read the earlier books so you know the characters and previous events which helps you appreciate just what happens in this story. It was great being able to reconnect with the now familiar characters from this and the associated Merriment Bay series. The main focus in this story is the relationship between Rafe and Neva, especially when his beautiful ex-wife turns up unexpectedly. Just who will Rafe choose? I have to say that Neva’s barefaced cheek (you’ll understand that when you read the story), her straight talking with Olivia and its results were the highlights of this story for me. However, with the ex partners of Hazel, Rafe and Jo all getting in touch, will any of them rekindle their original romance? You’ll have to read it for yourself to find out!

I’m really hoping things will work out for both Jo and Adam, though not together, and am looking forward to discovering what happens with both Cat and Kyra, too. This is a heartwarming series that I’m eager to read more stories involving these lovely characters and locations.

I requested and was gifted a copy of this book and this is my honest review after choosing to read it and, as usual for books by this author, thoroughly enjoyed escaping into.
