My Review:
This is a delightful picture book for young children. It shares the fears of the lovely little owl character, Little Hoo, as he goes on his first family camping trip. This is a great story for reassuring youngsters, giving explanations about what happens, what he hears and shows how, after all, it turns out to be something enjoyable and not scary at all. This is the first book I’ve read by this author and I will certainly look out for some of the others after reading this one. The colourful illustrations are very child friendly and appealing and the story could certainly be used to help reassure any child going camping for the first time or just as a fun bedtime story.
I requested and was gifted a copy of this book and this is my honest review after choosing to read it.
