My Review:

This is a fantastic book to get children more actively involved in their reading! It is packed with fun challenges, ideas for games and quizzes, and so much more. For example, it encourages them to read different types of books, books with different settings, or locations. It has ideas for setting up a book club and gives suggestions for games and activities to do as part of such a club. There are so many ideas packed into this book that will help encourage children to develop their reading and creative writing that I’m sure parents, carers and other teachers will also love it.

It is attractively presented, using different fonts and giving lots of spaces for children to use creatively.  This is a great book to encourage children to read and one that I suspect could be enjoyed by all KS2 pupils and will take quite a time to complete. I have absolutely no hesitation in giving this 5/5* – I wish I’d had access to such a brilliant, stimulating book when I was teaching, and very highly recommend teachers as well as parents and children check this book out!

I requested and was gifted a copy of this superb book and this is my honest review after exploring it and finding it packed with great ideas to help encourage children to think about their reading, the characters, stories and so much more!

Oh wow! Thanks so much 🙂 that’s exactly what I hoped people would feel about it. I designed the book I craved as a kid and I do feel lucky to have been able to write it now.

My pleasure! I can think of many children who I’ve taught who would have loved a book like this and hope many will get to do the activities in it for themselves and be inspired by it.
