Somewhere to review books I'm reading without giving away any spoilers!
The fate of the supernatural world lies in the hands of the Trinity. Now that their powers have awakened, they’re one step closer to putting an end to the Darkness surrounding them. Or so they thought…
The death of Wren’s father brings an unsolicited visit from the Alpha Master of the Thornwood werewolf pack, and with it some troublesome news. Wren is faced with a decision that could mean the end of his life if he doesn’t choose wisely.
A mysterious book hidden in a secret room just might have the answers the Trinity is searching for. Perhaps with a little help from the past, a winged guardian, and new friends–the Trinity can persevere and rise against the Darkness.
The first book in this series is Awakening the Trinity and I’d thoroughly enjoyed that so eagerly anticipated the opportunity to read this sequel – and it well worth the wait! The three teens who make up the Trinity are learning about their powers but they’ll need to learn more and find help if they are to stop the return of the Dark Witch.
When the Alpha of the neighbouring Thornwood werewolf pack insists that Wren joins his pack and Silver Mountain becomes pack land, the Trinity are faced with new dilemmas, especially when Hayley joins them at school and seems to target Quinn, determined to undermine her relationship with Wren. Quinn keeps hearing voices, too, and the arrival of the amulet and a feisty Irish big sister who has a habit of upsetting the others definitely don’t help! Can they discover how to destroy the amulet? What will happen if Wren declines joining the Thornwood pack?
This is a brilliant sequel that had me turning the pages wanting to discover what happened next. This is an enthralling read that I didn’t want to put down and one that has me keen to read the next book in this series as soon as it becomes available. If you enjoy paranormal adventures with superb characters, magical mysteries, suspense and surprises, grab yourself a copy of both books in this series and see if you enjoy reading them as much as I have.
Thank you to Rachel’s Random Resources for my copy of this book which I have voluntarily read and honestly reviewed.
