Fabulous trio of #Festive romances in The Christmas Swap by Sandy Barker #BlogTour

My Review:

Three eleven year olds from three different continents met on holiday and formed a lasting friendship. Now they’re all grown up and each, for different reasons, would like a different Christmas to normal – and they agree to do a Christmas swap – Australian Chloe travelling to the family of English Lucy who travels to spend her Christmas with the family of Coloradan Jules who, you’ve guessed it, travels to spend her Christmas with the friends of Australian Chloe.

The different Christmas experiences and traditions are shared in alternating chapters, introducing all the families, friends and activities they join in with – and the love that they find! The contrasting scenarios make it easy to follow the different narratives and the cliffhanger endings to some of these chapters had me turning to pages to find out just what happened next. This is a truly festive read with not just one but three heartwarming romances with fantastic characters, fun and very different yet similar celebrations. It is a delightful read and another enthralling book by this talented author.

Thanks to HarperCollins UK, One More Chapter and NetGalley for my copy of this book which I have voluntarily read, thoroughly enjoyed and honestly reviewed.

Synopsis:

Christmas is coming and best friends ChloeJules, and Lucy are needing change… so swapping homes for the holidays could be the perfect present for all of them!

Australian Chloe spends her Christmas in a sleepy village in Oxfordshire, England. She is totally star-struck when she discovers who lives across the road.

Lucy, who has jetted off to snowy Colorado for her dream-come-true white Christmas, is taken into the fold of Jules’s loud and brash family, discovering more about herself in a few short days than she has in years.

And Jules leaves the cold climes of Colorado to spend her Christmas on a beach with Chloe’s friends in Melbourne, finding that time away is just what she needed.

The only thing better than one Christmas romance is three, and this wonderful festive novel is perfect for fans of Sarah Morgan, Holly Martin and Karen Swan.
