Brill #Historical #RomanticSuspense -Hit Me With Your Best Scot by Suzanne Enoch

The final book in the wickedly seductive new Scottish historical romance trilogy from New York Times bestselling author Suzanne Enoch, Hit Me With Your Best Scot!

Title: Hit Me With Your Best Scot

Series: Wild Wicked Highlanders #3

Author: Suzanne Enoch

My Review:

If you enjoy belligerent Highlanders out to prove their Sassenach mother wrong to have left her three sons behind and then demand they marry English brides you’ll find them in this historical romance! Luckily for them, the two younger brothers have both met and fallen in love with English ladies but Coll MacTaggert is fed up with her attempts at matchmaking and parading eligible young ladies before him every time they go out. He’s adamant he can find his own wife but he never thought he’d do so going backstage at a theatrical performance!

This is a story packed with surprises, deadly peril, steamy romance, and multiple attempts at murder. It is a page turner where you’re not sure where the next assassination attempt will be made – or how to thwart it. As Coll endeavours to keep his new love safe, the protocols of society could force them apart. However, she has an even bigger secret and that could be the cause of the attempts but can she trust anyone with her secret?

Intriguing historical romance with plenty of pig-headedness on the parts of many characters, but a story that shows that family comes first for the MacTaggert brothers and they’ll work together to protect anyone who they care about.

Thank you to St Martin’s Press and NetGalley for my copy of this book which I have voluntarily read and honestly reviewed.

The MacTaggert brothers have one task:
Find English brides or lose their land!

Coll MacTaggert, Viscount Glendarril, is a big, brawny Highlander who doesn’t like being told what to do—not even by his exasperated English mother who is determined to see her eldest son wedded and bedded. However, when he comes to the rescue of an irresistibly beautiful woman, Coll discovers that he may have found his perfect match…

The challenge isn’t that Persephone Jones is famous, wealthy, independent, and smarter than anyone he knows. The problem is that she isn’t interested in marrying any man—especially not a hot-headed Scot—even if he is the only man who seems to understand who she really is even when she’s not sure herself. When Coll learns that Persephone is actually a lady-in-hiding and someone is willing to kill her for what she stands to inherit…Well, Coll has never been one to turn down a fight. When hearts are involved, nothing comes between a Highlander and his lady.

A native and current resident of Southern California, Suzanne Enoch loves movies almost as much as she loves books, with a special place in her heart for anything Star Wars. She has written more than forty Regency novels and historical romances, which are regularly found on the New York Times bestseller list. When she is not busily working on her next book, Suzanne likes to contemplate inter

esting phenomena, like how the three guppies in her aquarium became 161 guppies in five months.

Some of Suzanne’s books include Barefoot In The Dark, It’s Getting Scot in Here, Lady Whistledown Stirkes Back and The Legend of Nimway Hall.
