My Review:

If you’re looking for a quick, action packed paranormal romantic suspense to read, grab yourself a copy of this novella. It has dragon shifters trying to break a curse, a werewolf, humans, witches, history, magic and mystery skilfully woven into a page turner read! This is the second book in the Hidden Pines Shifters series but I believe it would still work well as a standalone read.

Callie is devastated by the death of her father but also is concerned that he insisted on a deathbed promise that she would fine Hawthorn Davis to help break a curse. It seems he has a reputation of being a real jerk to everyone but she promised her Dad. Can these two help break the curse? And if they don’t, what will happen to them?

There’s plenty of drama, mystery suspense and action in this hot romance and I look forward to catching up on their news when I get to read the next book in this series, Second Chance Shifter!

I have to break this curse.

On my father’s deathbed, he told me one thing: Find Hawthorn Davis.
I imagined Hawthorn and I would break this curse together.
Instead, he turns out to be the biggest jerk I have ever met.
Although, I can’t deny the electricity I feel when I am near him.
But none of that matters.
I need his help, and he will give it to me.
My mortal enemy shows up on my doorstep and expects me to help her.
I send her on her way, despite the fact that she is the most beautiful girl I have ever seen.
But with Callie, nothing is ever simple.
She doesn’t give up when she wants something, and right now, she seems to want me.

Content Warning: Explicit love scenes and lots of sexy shifters. Intended for 18+ audiences.
