My Review:

This is the third story in the Inferno Rising series and I couldn’t wait to read it! It is another action packed, suspense filled romance in which Meira Amon is the third of the phoenix sisters to mate – eventually!

Two of Meira’s sisters found their true mates but she doesn’t believe in them. She’s the most logical and analytical of the fou

r sisters and proposes to King Gorgon of the Black Dragon Clan as she believes their union will help in the fight against King Pytheios, who is currently High King and who earlier murdered her parents. However, she was astounded when she used her ability to view other locations through their mirrors and was spotted by Samael Veles, the chief warrior of the Black Clan. No one can usually see her unless she actually wants them to. The two don’t acknowledge their attraction to each other but when the mating ceremony results in King Gorgon disappearing and a substituted red dragon turning to ashes, Sam has no choice but to protect her, not only from his clan but also from himself and his dragon!

The robust world building continues in this fantastic addition to this series. The story is aflame with drama, love, suspense and danger. There are new allies to make, new battles to fight and love to be found. It is an enthralling page turner that I thoroughly enjoyed reading and I can’t wait to discover what happens when the fourth sister and her mate finally get together – let’s hope with all four phoenixes with mates they’ll be able to thwart the despotic King Pytheois and overthrow him and his allies! Look out for the kraken references, too – absolutely hilarious!
