My Review:

This is a sweet, tasty contemporary romance involving two people who have had their long term relationships broken up by their ex-partner. Emilie has gone to work as a personal chef on an idyllic, private, Caribbean island to recuperate and think about her options . . . Billionaire Joel Larsson has gone to stay on that island after his fiancée broke their engagement just weeks before their wedding. Both have been hurt but is their attraction to each other just a rebound romance, a holiday fling or their chance for a new future and HEA together?

Ella Hayes makes her characters seem like real people who you actually get to meet and the interactions between them are believable. The settings, dilemmas and dramas are beautifully portrayed, bringing them to life in your imagination. Both main characters are having to do some serious introspection, considering their previous relationship, how it ended and how they really feel about events and people, as well as reconsidering what they’d like to happen in the future. It is a story about opportunities, relationships, food and dreams, a delicious romance with plenty of options but needing courage and honesty too. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and have no hesitation in highly recommending it to anyone looking for a heartwarming romance in a beautiful setting with great characters and lots of love!

Thanks for my copy of this book which I have voluntarily read and honestly reviewed.

…that could fix his damaged heart?
Billionaire Joel Larsson is no stranger to the spotlight. But when his engagement implodes, all Joel wants is to get away. Cue a solo trip to a private Caribbean island!
