Title: Montana Cowboy Daddy
Series: Wyatt Brothers of Montana #3
Author: Jane Porter
Publisher: Tule Publishing
Published: April 1, 2021
This story has all the feels to make you say “Awww!”, so cute! It is a contemporary romance in which Erika Baylor receives a phone call which changes her life, one which informs her that her cousin has died and left instructions for Erika to be her next of kin – and so guardian to her four month old son, Beck, that Erika knew nothing about. She rises to the challenge and sets out to identify the child’s father from her cousin’s belongings. This leads her to Billy Wyatt, a professional rodeo cowboy who seems to have a different woman with him each time she sees him. She goes to see him on his family ranch and introduces him to his son, a son he knows nothing about, rocking his world with the news. As these two endeavour to do their best for the unexpected baby in their lives, they seem so different but opposites do attract sometimes!
Erika’s upbringing is heartbreaking and she’s really looking to be lovable and loved. Billy’s family life is something she thought only happened in movies, never in real life. As these two endeavour to resist their mutual attraction. This is a story in which both main characters grow emotionally, a believable, heartwarming story and family drama that is so moving! A great addition to the series but still a story that will work well as a fantastic standalone read.
Thanks for my copy of this book which I have voluntarily read and honestly reviewed.
Professional rodeo cowboy Billy Wyatt is in the prime of his career. He’s having a fantastic year on the circuit, earning big money and leading the standings. Too immersed in his success and enjoying bachelorhood, he’s not interested in getting serious. But when a woman he’s never seen before shows up with a baby she claims is his, Billy’s world is turned inside out.
Erika Baylor, a PhD grad student, never planned to be a single mom, but when her cousin dies in a car accident, orphaning her infant son, Erika steps forward. She’ll help to care for her 4-month-old nephew until the baby can be reunited with his dad. She doesn’t expect the dad to be cocky, infuriating, and utterly irresistible.
Billy never thought he wanted to be a father, but looking into the eyes of the baby who is supposedly his—and whose blue eyes mirror his own—he’s hooked. But he’s hooked on the woman who’s holding the baby too…
