Somewhere to review books I'm reading without giving away any spoilers!
With all the drama afoot, at least there’s no time for romance. Because that’s the very last thing on Ruby’s mind these days. Or is it…?
Thanks to the publisher for my copy of this book This is my honest review, please take a look. I always look forward to this stories in this series of books, With great plots and characters - including the ducks! It is great to catch up on characters old and new And to find out what they’ve been up to since my last review! This time Ruby starts working at the True Loaf Bakery but Her time there will be short as her time there is cut. She needs to prove she’s innocent of what she’s accused As her job there she’d really rather not lose. She wants to find out whose messing with Ellie’s life There’s mice, salt and posters causing trouble and strife. Hudson Holmes volunteers to assist in her quest so The two new detectives are ready to go! The story has family secrets concealed And drama galore when they are revealed. There’s romance and mystery in equal measure In a story that gives readers like me lots more pleasure.
Rosie has been scribbling stories ever since she was little.
Back then, they were rip-roaring adventure tales with a young heroine in perilous danger of falling off a cliff or being tied up by ‘the baddies’.
Thankfully, Rosie has moved on somewhat, and now much prefers to write romantic comedies that melt your heart and make you smile, with really not much perilous danger involved at all – unless you count the heroine losing her heart in love.
Her series of novellas is centred around life in a village cafe. The latest, ‘Sweet Pastries & Sourdough’, is out now.
Look out for more Little Duck Pond Café tales in 2021!
