I really look forward to visiting the places and characters associated with the delightful Little Duck Pond Café series, so happy to return there again in this blog post!
The chance to spend a night ghost-hunting alone with Hudson Holmes at Brambleberry Manor seems like a dream come true for Ruby Watkiss. Maybe, she thinks, this is their chance to get closer? But when mysterious goings-on start happening which have nothing to do with the spirit world, the pair are catapulted off on another sleuthing adventure. And as the snow starts to fall and emotions are rising at the Little Duck Pond Cafe, Ruby is faced with a double challenge. Can she be braver than she’s ever been, in order to rescue something very close to her heart? And can she convince Hudson that Christmas really can be the most wonderful time of the year?
What a fantastic, festive read this proved to be With romance, spirits, Santa, friends and mystery! Two puzzles for Ruby and Hudson to investigate With the chance for romance - or is it too late? Brambleberry Manor is said to be haunted But our intrepid duo will not be daunted. In the hope of helping, they'll stay the night Wondering if the ghost will give them a fright! There are parties and festive outings planned With friends and tasty treats that are never bland. A cute Maisie Moo and her pups all have a part In this lovely read with the Duck Pond folk at its heart. It was great to return to this community again Where friends are always there and won't refrain From quietly meddling to help others find romance Whenever they find they might have the chance! I've enjoyed every book I've read in this series My need to read more of them never wearies. I don't hesitate to highly recommend them all to you And hope you read and enjoy them, too. For my complementary copy of this book, I say thank you, I throughly enjoyed reading it and this is my honest review.
