I have never actually visited the US (yet!) but I still enjoy visiting virtually through some great books. Today, I’m happy to share my review for Breaking the Cowboy’s Rules by Sinclair Jayne – thank you to Tule Publishing for letting me read an ARC of this fun romance!
What a fun, contemporary romance this proved to be With cousins competing, one, two, three! They're told the grandfather is selling the family ranch So Bodhi challenges his cousins to find a bride - what's the chance? Bodhi is a pro rodeo bronc and bull rider who Likes challenging his cousins - and winning, too. When Nico Steel walks into Grey's Bar His heart goes wilder than ever by far. Nico is travelling incognito, trying to escape From her family and have time to contemplate. She's not sure what her future had in store But she knows it will change forever more. As impro plays such an integral part As these both explore possibilities, and open their heart. They're not looking for love or a long term affair But their hearts have other plans as both learn to care. Such an engaging read this proved to be Where so much revolves around the family. One is supportive and always there Whilst the other has forgotten how to care. I thoroughly enjoyed visiting Marietta once more Meeting familiar folks and visiting their stores. It doesn't matter if you've never visited before, I'm sure it is a setting you'll come to adore. I highly recommend this delightful read, If romance and family drama is what you need. For my complementary copy of this book, I say thank you, I throughly enjoyed reading it and this is my honest review.
It’s time to take advantage of his player reputation…
Pro rodeo bronc and bull rider Bodhi Ballantyne is always upping the stakes. This year he’s been hiding a secret, and when he and his cousins come home to Marietta, Montana, for the Copper Mountain Rodeo and learn their granddad is contemplating selling his legacy ranch, Bodhi challenges his cousins to a game to save their futures. To stay in the game, they’ll each need a bride by the end of the rodeo.
Nico Steel is on the run from her family, her fortune, and her unwitting role in the corporate scandal of a generation. After cooperating with the FBI and the New York state attorney’s office to right the wrongs, she drives across the country, desperate for peace and reinvention. One impulsive stop at a saloon along with a dance with a sexier-than-sin cowboy and suddenly Nico’s learning to shoot whiskey and agreeing to be a stranger’s fake fiancée for the week.
They’re both players, so it’s a win-win—unless one of them loses their heart. (less)
