I’ve considered joining in Reading Challenges but usually forget about doing so once I see just how many Blog Tours I’ve already signed up to do. However, for once, I think I’ll enjoy this challenge so here it is:
I know I’ll probably not manage them all, but I’m challenging myself to have a go and have been working on some of the categories during January! I’m not restricting myself to books published by Harlequin but anything I’ve read or listened to the audiobook for.
Here’s my progress in January 2022 (with links to my reviews of the books) . . . .
A book featuring a heroine or hero over 35 | A book featuring LGBTQ+ main characters | A book from an author who has also written a free online read on Harlequin.com |
The Little Terrace of Friendships by Ian Wilfred
A book from a debut author | A book with an animal on the cover | A book made into a movie or series |
The Holiday Plan by Emma Lynden | Undercover K-9 Cowboy by Addison Fox
A romantic comedy read | A book set in the past | A book recommended by a booktube or bookstagram account |
The Sweetheart Deal by Miranda Liasson | The Child Without A Home by Ann Bennett
The first book in a miniseries | A book about family | A book set in your dream vacation spot |
The Inn at Harts Haven by Patricia Davids | A Secret at Tansy Falls by Cate Woods | Heartcross Castle by Christie Barlow |
Somehow suspect I’ll probably be able to complete the same categories with different books in each month. Wonder if I’ll be able to find any to fit the missing four categories as well?
Anyone else trying to do this challenge?

Wow, look at you go Elaine! I don’t follow youtubers or bookstagram, so that would be tough for me. Good luck.

I don’t follow many- and they tend to be on the same tours as me, so it might not be a category I manage before the end of the year. Only doing it for fun 🤩
